Pam O’Connor MD, DABFM

Dr. Pam O’Connor grew up in Iowa on a farm surrounded by 30 horses, where she developed an early appreciation for movement, resilience, and the connection between lifestyle and health. She completed her undergraduate studies in the Honors Program at the University of Houston before earning her medical degree from Texas A&M University College of Medicine.

She went on to complete her Family Medicine residency at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood, Kentucky, followed by a Sports Medicine fellowship at Akron Children’s Hospital. After fellowship, she practiced non-surgical orthopedics for several years in both Kentucky and Texas, building a strong foundation in musculoskeletal health and functional movement.

In 2011, Dr. O’Connor transitioned into primary care at College Park Medicine, where she continued to expand her approach to whole-person care. In 2022, she shifted her focus to functional and integrative medicine, allowing her to more deeply address root causes of illness and support long-term wellness.

Dr. O’Connor has advanced training in functional and integrative medicine, with specialties including bioidentical hormone therapy, regenerative medicine, non-surgical orthopedic medicine, and complementary cancer care. She is also certified in RGCC lab testing and therapies for cancer and chronic infections.

Her approach to patient care is centered on helping individuals restore balance through movement, nutrition, stress management, and personalized treatment strategies. She is passionate about empowering patients to take an active role in their health and healing.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. O’Connor enjoys spending quality time with her family, often centered around home-cooked meals she prepares herself. She has always had a passion for sports, exercise, and healthy living, which continues to influence both her personal life and medical practice.
